Remote data collection and mobile control just became easier with the new DataMover. Drawing just 100 milliamps at 5Volts during regular operation, the DataMover can be easily set to run off of battery power.

A small form factor of 3.4x4.2 inches, the DataMover is packed with configurable I/O. The 12 digital I/O lines are jumper configurable for up to 4 channels A/D, up to 4 opto-isolated inputs, and/or 4 output drivers. The second serial port can be configured for either RS232 or RS485.

Many optional features are available, allowing you to customize the controller for your specific application. Access the DataMover remotely using the optional GPRS Cell Modem, or pinpoint its location with the optional JK-GPS attachments. Not only will the PowerAux attachment allow for input voltages from 8-40 V DC, but it will also allow the DataMover to go into a micro-amp range sleep mode! All of these attachments can fit nicely in the optional rugged enclosure. As with many of our products, you can also increase the storage capacity with the DiskOnChip memory module.

The DataMover Development Kit (99-0150) includes an DataMover controller, Programming Cable, Connector Kit, 110 VAC Adapter, Setup Guide, Schematic and CD with GCC C/C++Compiler, sample programs and documentation.

A prototyping kit (99-0068) is also available for convenient development of hardware peripherals.
